    Statements

The fair distribution of risks and opportunities of climate change and the transition to a regenerative economy, cognisant in particular of disproportionate impacts on vulnerable communities and the working class. Redistribution can be financial, for example payments from those who caused harm to affected communities, but it can also relate to social and cultural factors, for example, providing additional protection to vulnerable areas. Vulnerable communities should be understood broadly, for example including future generations, left-behind areas, vulnerable individuals and historically marginalised groups.
